What makes our Mums, Bubs & Bumps classes different?

Classes are run on Pilates reformers and incorporate a wide range of equipment, including:

  • Wedges

  • Pilates rings

  • Hand weights

  • Chi balls

  • Jump boards (where appropriate)

This allows for variety, progression, and precise exercise prescription, tailored to your stage of pregnancy or postnatal recovery.

Our classes are suitable for:

  • Pregnancy (all stages, with appropriate screening)

  • Postnatal mums, including early return to exercise once cleared

Exercises are modified based on:

  • Trimester or weeks post-birth

  • Core control and pelvic floor function

  • Previous injuries, pain, or surgery

  • Reformer experience level

All classes are taught by experienced Physiotherapists with a strong background in women’s health, pregnancy, and postnatal rehabilitation.

60-minute Initial Assessment

strongly recommended

To ensure the class is safe, effective, and aligned with your goals, we strongly recommend a 60-minute initial consultation, particularly if you:

  • Have any women’s health concerns

  • Are experiencing pelvic floor symptoms

  • Have not done Reformer Pilates before

  • Are unsure how to return to exercise post-birth

This session allows us to:

  • Assess your core and pelvic floor function

  • Understand your goals and exercise history

  • Identify any modifications required

  • Ensure exercises are safe and appropriate for you

30-minute Exercise Screening Assessment

This option may be suitable if you:

  • Have already had a women’s health or pelvic floor assessment, and

  • Have been cleared to exercise, and

  • Have previous Pilates or Reformer experience

The screening allows us to:

  • Review your current exercise capacity

  • Confirm appropriate class level and modifications

  • Ensure safe participation in group Reformer Pilates
