Our Mums, Bubs & Bumps Reformer Pilates classes are small-group, physiotherapist-run sessions designed specifically for pregnant women and new mums who want to stay active, recover safely, and feel confident in their body again.
This is true clinical Reformer Pilates, not a generic fitness class. Health fund rebates available.
What makes our Mums, Bubs & Bumps classes different?
Classes are run on Pilates reformers and incorporate a wide range of equipment, including:
Wedges
Pilates rings
Hand weights
Chi balls
Jump boards (where appropriate)
This allows for variety, progression, and precise exercise prescription, tailored to your stage of pregnancy or postnatal recovery.
Reformer Pilates with props
Suitable for pregnancy and postnatal
Our classes are suitable for:
Pregnancy (all stages, with appropriate screening)
Postnatal mums, including early return to exercise once cleared
Exercises are modified based on:
Trimester or weeks post-birth
Core control and pelvic floor function
Previous injuries, pain, or surgery
Reformer experience level
Taught by experienced Physiotherapists
All classes are taught by experienced Physiotherapists with a strong background in women’s health, pregnancy, and postnatal rehabilitation.

60-minute Initial Assessment
strongly recommended
To ensure the class is safe, effective, and aligned with your goals, we strongly recommend a 60-minute initial consultation, particularly if you:
Have any women’s health concerns
Are experiencing pelvic floor symptoms
Have not done Reformer Pilates before
Are unsure how to return to exercise post-birth
This session allows us to:
Assess your core and pelvic floor function
Understand your goals and exercise history
Identify any modifications required
Ensure exercises are safe and appropriate for you

30-minute Exercise Screening Assessment
This option may be suitable if you:
Have already had a women’s health or pelvic floor assessment, and
Have been cleared to exercise, and
Have previous Pilates or Reformer experience
The screening allows us to:
Review your current exercise capacity
Confirm appropriate class level and modifications
Ensure safe participation in group Reformer Pilates
